After more than 210 hours of work spread over several months, I'm excited to finally say that my latest coloured pencil drawing is complete!

This drawing features a stunning Morris Transport Kenworth, beautifully lit against a dramatic sunset. From the chrome reflections to the glowing lights and colourful sky, every small detail required patience and careful attention.

The journey wasn't without its challenges. Near the end of the drawing I ran into an unexpected problem with workable fixative, which dulled the colours and forced me to rework many areas of the artwork. Although it was frustrating at the time, I'm glad I persevered, and I'm very happy with the final result.

One of the highlights of this project was seeing the wonderful response from Morris Transport. They shared the finished drawing on their social media and described it as something they hope will become the signature artwork in their new offices. Reading their kind words made all those hours worthwhile.
