Commissions
Creating a custom drawing is a collaborative process. My goal is to create a piece of artwork you'll be proud to display for many years to come.
The Commission Process
1. Get in touch
Send me a message with a description of your idea, and if you have them, one or more high-quality reference photographs. The better the reference images, the more detailed and accurate the finished drawing can be.
2. Quote
Once I have reviewed your wishes and references, I'll provide a quote based on the size, complexity and level of detail required.
3. Deposit
A 50% deposit is required before work begins. The remaining balance is due once the drawing has been completed and approved, before shipping.
4. Creation
Your drawing is made entirely by hand using professional media depending on the subject including: graphite/charcoal/coloured pencils, pen, markers, or a mix of them. I always make my drawings on museum-quality paper. Depending on the size and complexity, commissions can take anywhere from several days to several weeks or months to complete.
5. Shipping
Your artwork is carefully packaged to ensure it arrives safely. Worldwide shipping is available.
Pricing
Every commission is unique, so prices vary depending on the subject, size and level of detail. Typical factors include: subject, number of subjects, size of the artwork, background complexity, black & white or colour, and level of detail. You can see a few examples of previous commissions and their pricing in the above carousel. Don’t hesitate to contact me for a personalized quote with no obligation.
Payment
To make the commission process as convenient as possible, I offer several secure payment options including: Paypal, Square invoice (credit card and debit cards accepted), Interac e-transfer (available for customers in Canada).
What can be commissioned?
I accept commissions for a wide range of subjects, including: wildlife, pets, vehicles, cityscapes, buildings, houses, and trees. If you have a different idea, I'd be happy to discuss it with you.
