About the drawing

A deeply personal piece exploring both wonder and isolation. The elephant, surrounded by space, reflects a sense of awe, beauty, and the quiet distance that can come with experiencing the world differently as an autistic person.

I made this drawing with pastel pencils on canvas and it took over 200 hours to complete.
