Who am I?

My name is Heidi Vormer and my artist name is Remrov, which is my last name spelled backwards. I've already made all kinds of artwork since I was little and now
I specialize in drawing portraits, animals, houses, and cartoons. 
I have autism and due to this I see the whole world in lots of tiny details. So all my drawings tend to be this way too, very precise and detailed. I like to make very photorealistic artwork, but the cartoons are more from my own imagination. 
Right now I'm working on a comicbook with my pet parrot Pilaf as the main character called 'Pilaf in Space', which I like to publish when it's finished. Besides making artwork I also love to write. At the moment I'm writing a book about autism, about my own experiences but wrapped in a sci-fi/ fantasy novel. And besides that I write articles on a regular basis for a Dutch article website called Xead. 

Due to my autism my experiences and lifestory have been quite extraordinary. I enjoy giving talks about 
autism and sharing my lifestory with audiences of people interested in learning more about autism.

Since recently I make photorealistic portraits of koalas. You can take a look at these on the 'Koala Art' page. 25% of what I make with these drawings I donate to the koala hosipital in Port Macquarie, Australia, so please contact me if you are interested in a koala drawing.
